Plans comparison: Free, Pro, Max
Overview
Clonerix is intentionally priced with three simple tiers. We do not believe in seventeen pricing tiers with asterisks and fine print. This article compares Free, Pro, and Max side by side across every dimension that matters, explains which tier is best for which use case, and answers the most common billing questions.
If you only read one paragraph, read this: Free is for testing and very light usage. Pro is for regular production publishing without custom domains. Max is for anyone who is serious about cloning and wants unlimited volume plus custom domain publishing.

Which plan is right for me?
Free ($0/month). Choose Free if you are testing the product for the first time, validating a single offer before investing, publishing a one-off test landing page for internal review, or using Clonerix occasionally as a personal research and inspiration capture tool. The free tier does not expire. You can stay on Free indefinitely as long as your usage stays under two clones per month.
Upgrade to Pro if you hit the monthly clone quota more than one month in a row, or if you need to publish pages publicly that cannot carry a Clonerix footer watermark.
Pro ($49/month). Pro is the most popular plan for individual performance marketers, solo founders, media buyers, and freelance designers. Fifteen clones per month is enough volume for the vast majority of active individual users. No watermark plus ZIP export means you can deliver production-quality work to clients or publish externally without anyone knowing the page was built with Clonerix.
Upgrade to Max if you consistently consume fifteen clones before the end of the billing month, or if you need to publish on custom domains instead of on the Clonerix subdomain.
Max ($99/month). Max is built for power users, agencies, studios, and heavy-traffic brands. Unlimited clones means you never have to think about monthly quota again. Custom domain publishing on an unlimited number of domains is the single most-requested Pro upgrade feature. The priority support channel and included onboarding call are additional nice-to-haves that justify the price difference for most professional users.
Annual billing on Max saves approximately 20% off the monthly equivalent and includes the optional dedicated success manager program for accounts with ten or more active projects.
Billing cycle options
Every tier supports both monthly and annual billing. Annual billing discounts are roughly 15 to 20 percent compared to paying month to month, depending on the tier. Annual billing is strongly recommended for anyone who already knows they will be using the platform for at least six months.
Monthly plans cancel at any time with no cancellation penalty. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Annual plans are fully refundable within the first 30 days per the Refund Policy. After 30 days, refunds are handled on a case-by-case discretionary basis.
Quota and reset behavior
Clone quotas reset automatically every 30 days from the date of your initial subscription purchase, not on the calendar first of the month. If you subscribed on the fourteenth of March, your next reset happens on the fourteenth of April. You can view your exact quota usage and next reset date at any time from Billing > Usage.
Clones that fail during processing due to source-site errors, platform bugs, or other non-user-caused failures do not count against your quota. If you believe a clone was incorrectly counted against your quota, open a support ticket and we will manually adjust the counter.
Unused clone credits do not roll over from one billing period to the next. They are intentionally use-it-or-lose-it to keep pricing simple and predictable. If you consistently have leftover credits at the end of every cycle, you are probably on a tier higher than you need.
Add-ons and enterprise
Team seats are available as an add-on to the Max plan. Each additional team member gets their own login, their own editor workspace access, and shared access to the team project library. Volume discounts apply at five, ten, and twenty seat tiers.
Enterprise and custom plans are available for companies with 100+ employees, custom integration requirements, SOC 2 reporting needs, on-premises deployment requests, or custom billing terms. Contact sales to discuss. Enterprise plans include architectural review, custom SLA, a named customer success manager, and priority engineering escalation for bug reports.
Upgrades, downgrades, and plan changes
You can upgrade or downgrade your tier at any time from the Billing section of the dashboard.
Upgrades take effect immediately. The difference in price between your current tier and the new tier is prorated for the remainder of the current billing cycle and charged immediately. You get instant access to the new features and higher quota.
Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refund or credit is issued for the remainder of the current period. If downgrading causes you to exceed quota in a future cycle, the excess projects remain accessible but become read-only until you upgrade again or stay within the new tier limits for a full cycle.
Refund policy summary
First-time monthly purchases are fully refundable within 14 days. First-time annual purchases are fully refundable within 30 days. Renewals after the initial purchase period are non-refundable except under specific discretionary circumstances described in the full Refund Policy.
If you are unhappy with the service within the applicable window and you ask for a refund, we will issue it. No questions asked beyond a brief feedback request. We do not play refund games.
Frequently asked questions about plans
Can I switch from monthly to annual billing later? Yes. The change takes effect at your next renewal. Contact support if you need the change applied mid-cycle with a prorated credit.
What happens to my projects if I cancel my paid plan and return to Free? Projects remain accessible. Over-quota projects become read-only. The Clonerix footer watermark is re-applied to any published pages. Custom-domain-published sites are redirected to the free subdomain variant.
Do you offer a student, non-profit, or open-source discount? Yes, 50% off Pro and Max for verified students, registered non-profits, and active open-source maintainers. Email support with proof of status to apply.
Can I buy additional clone credits without upgrading tiers? Not currently. If you need more than your current tier allows, the correct move is to upgrade to the next tier. Credits are not sold individually.
Do you accept PayPal, crypto, or purchase orders? Standard payment methods include all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Bank transfers and purchase orders are available for annual Max and Enterprise plans with a minimum annual spend.
